Low Calorie Food

What is low calorie food?
To supply the calories our bodies need for energy, we must eat food. This releases heat, which is measured in calories.  A Low calorie food is defined as a food haveing a level of fewer than 40 calories per serving and less than 0.4 clorie per gram. These foods will surely reduce your daily calorie consumption.Low calorie diets were the usual way to lose weight. New research also shows that low-calorie diet may lead to longer life.
The American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) recommends that calorie levels never drop below 1200 calories per day for women or 1800 per day for men. To reduce calorie consumption, we need to focus on low calorie foods.
