Red Lake Mine
Red Lake Gold Mines are located in the Canadian Shield of Northwestern Ontario, Canada, 180 kilometres north of Dryden. They cover approximately 2,335 hectares within the District of Kenora in Northwestern Ontario.The Red Lake Gold Mine is composed of two operating complexes: the Red Lake Complex and the Campbell Complex. Red Lake Gold mine is Canada's largest gold mine, and in 2009 produced 623k ounces at a cash cost of $288/oz. It is also one of the world's richest gold mines and lowest cost producers. | San Gold
San Gold mine is located near the town of Bissett in the Canadian province of Manitoba. The town is 235 kilometers northeast of Winnipeg, the provincial capital, and is serviced by 185 kilometers paved provincial highway with the remainder being all-weather gravel road.Gold was originally discovered on the property in 1911. The main mineralized trend (SAM or Mine Diabase) has produced more than 1.5 million ounces gold. A second important mineralized trend (Shoreline Basalt Unit) was identified only in 2010. The Rice Lake mine is located along the SAM trend, while the Hinge mine and the 007 deposit are within the Shoreline Basalt Unit mining trend. | Sleeping Giant Mine
The Sleeping Giant mine is located in the Abitibi region of northwestern Quebec,Canada, approximately 80 kilometres north of Amos, a town of about 13,000.The mine was discovered in 1976 and mining began in 1988. It was shut down in 1991 and reopened in 1993. The Mine is a typical "narrow vein" gold mine as it commonly found in the region. Wolverine zinc-silver mine is located 190 kilometers northwest of Watson Lake in southeast Yukon Territory, Canada. The mine is owned by Yukon Zinc Corporation a private company majority owned by JDC (Jinduicheng Molybdenum Group Mining Co., Ltd ). JDC is the top Asian molybdenum producer and the same time the world¡¯s third largest molybdenum producer.Wolverine is an underground mine that has on-site milling capabilities of 1,700 tonnes per day to produce zinc, copper and lead concentrate. The mill was commissioned in 2010 and as of 2012 production is increasing to design capacity.
