Cordocentesis
Cordocentesis(also known as percutaneous umbilical blood sampling or PUBS) is a diagnostic prenatal test in which a sample of the baby's blood is removed from the umbilical cord for testing. The test can be used to detect certain genetic disorders, blood conditions and infections.
Best time to get tested
Between weeks 18 and 22 of pregnancy, if recommended

Mother/fetus (fetal blood sample obtained from vein in the umbilical cord)
