Blood sugar levels

Blood sugar levels refers to the amount of glucose present in whole blood.
Normal sugar levels:
Normal glucose levels fall between 70 and 150 mg per deciliter. Levels typically are lower in the morning, and rise after meals, but returns to the normal range in 1 or 2 hours.
High blood sugar:
Blood sugar levels falling consistently above 150 mg/dl are indicative of hyperglycemia, or high blood sugar.Persistent hyperglycemia results in diabetes mellitus.
Low blood sugar:
a blood sugar level below 70 mg/dl is low.
