What is High Cholesterol/Fat Foods Foods?
High levels of cholesterol can lead to elevated blood pressure, which can result in stroke and heart disease. The American Heart Association recommends that we eat no more than 300 mg of cholesterol per day. To control cholesterol levels is to restrict foods that are high in cholesterol/fat.
The high cholesterol foods contain saturated fat and cholesterol. Saturated fats, found mostly in animal products.Products that are high in saturated fats are Butter, Cheese,Chicken fat, Ice cream (contains milkfat), Meat fat,Palm oil,Coconut oil - Beef,Lamb,Pork and Veal. So if you eat these foods in excess to make your diet a high cholesterol diet, your cholesterol level rises.
