How to calculate my carb Intake from my estimated daily calorie needs

The Institute of Medicine Food and Nutrition Board has not set specific recommendations regarding net carbs or available carbohydrates.

However, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends that 45 percent to 65 percent of the daily calories come from carbohydrates. Keeping track of carbohydrates (carbs) you eat will help you manage your blood sugar if you have diabetes.  Reducing the carbohydrate intake may also be a good way to lose weight and keep it off.

How many calories you require daily,You can calculate it  using body weight, height, age, gender, and exercise level,  A single gram of carbohydrates contains roughly four calories of energy.  If 45%-65% of daily calories come from carbs, It is easy to determine how many of your daily calories should be carbohydrate calories.

World Health Organization jointly recommend that national dietary guidelines set a goal of 55-75% of total energy from carbohydrates, but only 10% directly from sugars (their term for simple carbohydrates).

The percentage of your daily diet coming from carbohydrates depends on whether you wish to maintain, lose or gain weight. . Note that this calculation of of carbohydrates you will need each day is just an estimate.
