If you have a high-risk pregnancy,your doctor might ask you to come in for check-ups more often.

Week 24-28 Glucose screen to check for gestational diabetes.
At this stage, you will have a glucose challenge or a glucose tolerance test. A visit to the physician to discuss glucose test results and talk about receiving RH immune globulin if RH negative during week 28.
| Week 28-32 Around this time, you will receive a review of the fetal growth and a follow-up visit will be arranged.
| Week 34-39 Weekly tracking of fetal growth weight.Some practitioners do internal exams to check the cervix;
some do a vaginal/rectal culture for group B streptococcus.
| Week 40 Your pregnancy journey comes to an end. You will have a follow-up with doctor, ultrasound, monitoring biophysical profile every 2-4 days.
| Week 41-42 Your doctor will refer you to the delivery room, where you may have a contraction stress test and induced to give labor.
