Week 10-14 A nuchal translucency ultrasound (commonly called a ˇ°nuchal scanˇ± or ˇ°NT scanˇ±) is an ultrasound performed around week 12 gestation. It is usually part of an assessment called combined first trimester screening.

Week 15-16 early ultrasound screening exam

Week 17 Triple screen test, fetoprotein or amniocentesis and blood count.A triple screen is a blood test that measures three things called alpha-fetoprotein, human chorionic gonadotropin and unconjugated estriol. Triple screens are most accurate if done between the 16th and the 18th weeks of your pregnancy.

Week 22-25 During this time, you will have another ultrasound scan to determine whether there is a late anomaly in the development of your baby.

Week 24-28 Glucose screen to check for gestational diabetes.
At this stage, you will have a glucose challenge or a glucose tolerance test. A visit to the physician to discuss glucose test results and talk about receiving RH immune globulin if RH negative during week 28.

Week 28-32 Around this time, you will receive a review of the fetal growth and a follow-up visit will be arranged.

Week 34-39 Weekly tracking of fetal growth weight.Some practitioners do internal exams to check the cervix;
some do a vaginal/rectal culture for group B streptococcus.

Week 40 Your pregnancy journey comes to an end. You will have a follow-up with doctor, ultrasound, monitoring biophysical profile every 2-4 days.

Week 41-42 Your doctor will refer you to the delivery room, where you may have a contraction stress test and induced to give labor.
